By Students, For the Seas

Acoris is a student-led reef conservation, restoration and education organisation.

Our goal is to become a platform for education and action that raises awareness, knowledge, and engagement in coral reef conservation and restoration, empowering people to protect and sustain marine ecosystems for future generations.

Our Goals

01
Cultivating appreciation

Cultivating a deep appreciation and love for coral reefs by promoting understanding of their ecological importance and the vital role they play in sustaining marine biodiversity.

02
Encouraging environmental stewardship

Encouraging environmental stewardship through hands-on experiences, such as coral restoration, reef monitoring, and educational workshops that connect participants directly with marine environments.

03
Outreach and communication

Utilising social media and creative outreach as powerful tools to raise public awareness, share scientific knowledge, and inspire collective action for coral reef protection.

04
Education

Providing ethical, competent, and meaningful learning opportunities that foster empathy, responsibility, and long-term commitment toward the conservation and sustainability of coral reef ecosystems.
